Aspen Marquetry Wall Panel

This marquetry panel is inspired by one of Montana’s native trees, the Aspen. It is part of an ongoing series that takes photos captured in Montana, which are then transformed into wooden art pieces. Each piece uses traditional marquetry techniques; all cut by hand using natural materials.

This piece is built using Cherry, Ambrosia Maple, Poplar, Russian Olive, and Claro Walnut. It measures 11.75” × 16.75” x 1.25.”
